Loopy Fringe Button
Made with a double strand of worsted weight (size 4) yarn (or a single strand of bulky weight (size 5) yarn) and a large crochet hook (Size P-11.5mm). The loopy fringe is crocheted as you go and the large hook makes this a quick project. The stitches used are chain, slip stitch and double crochet. The cowl is worked flat.
The yarn used for this project is Simply Soft by Caron (pictured in gray). A single strand of bulky weight yarn such as Lion Brand Homespun or Lion Brand Tweed Stripes (pictured) can also be used for this project.
The Size P hook is 11.5mm, not 10mm.
Beehive Button Cowl – Button Scarf Crochet
The Beehive Button Cowl gets fastened with two buttons and gathers gently around your neck for a cozy, on-trend look. The stitches used are chain, double crochet and single crochet. An advanced beginner could handle this project. Red Heart Soft yarn works well for this cowl, but any worsted weight yarn will do.
The finished cowl will measure approximately 30″ long and 9″ wide.

This fringed button scarf is made with bulky weight (size 5) yarn and a large crochet hook (Size P-11.5mm). The large hook makes this a quick project.
